Green Tea Recipes

The magical green tea leaves are consumed in various forms in different regions. Innovative recipes not just augment the value of the product but also add taste to it. Interesting recipes delight the consumers and bring novelty to the product. Some of the recipes are described here.

1. Green Tea Pudding

Ingredients Required: 4 pieces of eggs, 21oz milk, 0.25 oz green tea powder, 2.5 oz hot water and 5 oz sugar.
Directions: Mix sugar and egg to make a consistent mixture. In another bowl, mix green tea powder with hot water and then add milk to it. Combine the two mixtures and strain it. Put it in a cup with caramel sauce in the bottom. Bake the mixture for one and a half hour at 300 F.

Caramel Sauce

Ingredients: 3 teaspoonfuls of hot water and 3.5 oz sugar.
Directions: Melt sugar in a small pan on medium heat. Add boiling water to sugar after it turns golden brown and heat it without stirring. Allow the sugar to melt and soften and remove it from the burner.

2. Green Tea Latte

Ingredients Required: Green tea, sweetener and milk.
Directions: Put about ¼ teaspoon of green tea in a cup and add sweetener according to taste. Add hot milk to the mixture and stir it. Sprinkle green tea over it.

3. Green Tea Ice Cream

Ingredients Required: 2 egg yolks, 200ml heavy cream, 2 teaspoon hot water, 1-2 teaspoon green tea, 50ml water and 2 to 4 teaspoon sugar.
Directions: Beat egg yolk in a cup. Add sugar and water to it and mix it well. Put the mixture in a pan on low heat and stir it. When the mixture becomes thick remove it from the burner. Prepare a mixture of green tea powder and hot water. Add green tea to the egg mixture and mix it well. Cool the mixture in ice water. Add whipped cream into the mixture. Mix it well and freeze it.
